Royal wisdom
Belgium’s heir to the throne, prince Philippe, attended yesterday the Globe 2008 conference in Vancouver, Canada, and demonstrated his impressive scientific knowledge.
He said, among other things, that to keep the CO2-levels steady would require a 50 to 85 percent cut in the emissions.
“This basically means that we will have to live in an almost carbon-free world.”

Well, I can live without diamonds (carbon in its purest form) and I could probably get by without graphite al long as there was something beside pencils for writing. I am not sure the planet would do all that well without carbon since it is an essential building block of life.
Perhaps His Higness means carbon dioxide. Now some of that we could do without, especially that which emits from the pie-holes of idiots like this. Was this guy schooled by Prince Charles?
