The biggest scam ever?
According to a recent British poll, more than one third of the Brits believe the 9/11 to be staged by the US government. Almost as many think that Apollo’s moon landing was shot right here on Earth. Obviously, we all prone to conspiracy thinking.
Today, the term “conspiration” has been widely adopted in the climate debate. The proponents of the AGW-theory claim that climate skepticism is directed and produced by conservative think tanks in cooperation with the oil business. Climate skeptics, on the other hand, argue that AGW may very well be the biggest scam ever pulled on the human race.
Who is right, if anybody? Who conspires against whom and for what purpose? Which side has the most to gain?
How come global warming has become so overexposed in media? Why is climate change to blame for almost everything? Is CO2 the perfect means to curtail technical and economic development? Is climate change just one of many scares presented to us humans over the past hundred years? Or is it a real threat, stubbornly denied by some shadowy interest groups?

We have to be careful here. Three questions are:-
1) Is the climate getting warmer world-wide? That is not certain, but may be true. For the purposes of argument, let’s suppose it is. Which raises the next question
2) What sources of heat affect the climate? Only two; count them, two. The heat released from the molten core of the earth, and the radiation from the sun. We can ignore the former, so the ONLY source of heat which stops the world from becoming a giant snowball is the radiation from the sun.
3) What has changed, and by how much, to cause the climate to heat up? That’s easy, the sun is a variable star. It’s output has gone up by about 1% in the last 150 years, and that has induced a 3 degree C increase in the temperature of our climate.
Please don’t tell me that atmospheric gas ratios have changed so much that they retain the infra-red radiation reradiated by the earth to such an extent as to emulate a 1% increase in radiation from the sun - that’s an obvious fairy story. If you don’t believe me, ask yourself how you are still breathing!

As featured (underpinned) in the 3rd IPCC report (fable) on the (supposedly proven…) scientific basis of man made climate change.
Only in models is it “proven”, as the Hockey stick shows….
THERE IS NO EMPIRACAL PROOF OF AGW.

A politically motivated fraud, nothing more.
I’m with Derek AGW IS A HOAX. And a very lucrative one if you’re in the right business. ie: Unkle Al’s ‘Salve your Conscience Carbon Offset Kompany’ Etc….

as this IS the biggest scam ever, you’d expect that there would be more to this than merely the “Hcokey stick”.
We’ll conveniently skip over the fact there is NO empiracal proof as well…..
So, how about the next big corner stone of AGW. Which is,
Mauna Loa CO2 measurements.
How are they done. Well, on a machine that no one else was allowed to verfiy or check before it was pressed into service in the middle of the Pacific (a well known area of massive oceanic de-gassing of CO2), on a volcanic island (volcanoes emit a lot of CO2 by the way), to measure, wait for it……
man’s contribution to CO2 levels globally…
The machine/s in question used a brand new process for measuring CO2 levels in parts per million, but no one was allowed to look at or test / compare the machines..
So, you have an “unknown” machine in the middle of the largest oceanic de-gassing area on the planet, that happens to be situated on an island with an active volcanoe.
I think you might agree that IF the measurements are accurate then what are they measuring,
Natural variation of oceanic de-gassing.
Maybe not completely, but it must play a large part of the whole.
We can relax though this is science funded by public (tax) money, so the Data Quality Act applies.
Therefore there are lots of stringent rules and regulations that have to be followed, and are enforced to make sure everything is above board and proper in what is the globally “accepted” measure of CO2 atmospheric levels and their changes over time.
Hmmm, there should be, but is there…
